Saturday January 18th, 2014 was that event and both myself(Keith), my wife(Kim) and another couple and their daughter attended as we have for the past several years.

We started the morning out at Shea’s with a scrumptious buffet breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, home-fries, sausage, bacon, croissants, danishes, coffee and more.

After breakfast we headed to the LW Emporium which is directly behind Shea’s which is a 3 floor, 15,000 square foot, renovated coal barn housing lots of antiques and crafts. There are well over 60 vendor “booths” or spaces within the building. Everything in the building is at a 20% discount the entire day and in some cases some vendors offer 50% off specials too!

There is something for everybody, if you enjoy crafty and antique kinds of things! Make sure to sign up to get on their email list to be updated on various events and especially this great customer appreciation day! We spent well over an hour or so meandering, browsing and of course buying a few interesting items. A lot of good Christmas bargains to be found as well for the next holiday season!

After we left LW we proceeded over to Whistle Stop Antiques and found a few more bargains there.  There’s also several other buildings within the complex including an ice cream stand but were not open on this occasion.

If you enjoy buffet breakfast’s (or just lunch or dinner @ Shea’s) and shopping for crafts and antiques, this is a great place to spend a couple 2-3 hours!
