Last Friday, February 7th our company, Nothnagle Realtors had the Annual Company Meeting & Celebration of Excellence as well as the Platinum Award Winner Reception, later that evening. 2013 was a great year and last Friday is one of the days that we stop, reflect, and celebrate all we accomplished last year.
We couldn’t have achieved what we did in 2013 without our incredible clients, our understanding families & friends, our company (Nothnagle Realtors), and our fellow colleagues. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU and we look forward to an even better 2014!
Both functions were very enjoyable, relaxing, and also filled with some exciting news. We thought we’d share our day and also the exciting news!
Annual Company Meeting & Celebration of Excellence
This years meeting was held at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, which was a nice change from the Doubletree, which is where many meetings have been in years past.
Registration began around 10:00 AM with the actual program beginning around 10:45. The program began with a 2013 company recap showing various charts of total volume in the Greater Rochester NY area as well as Greater Buffalo NY area. In the Rochester NY region, Nothnagle is the number one real estate company by a considerable margin over the other companies. Also announced was the launch of the new “Agent Dashboard.” This tool is only available to Nothnagle Real Estate agents. It allows agents to track leads on their listings, set their yearly goals and track those goals day-by-day, order marketing materials, and much more! Just another example why Nothnagle is the best real estate company in Rochester NY and has been since 1948.
Once the company recap was complete the awards portion of the program began. First they announced the 2013 million dollar rookies, which is an award for real estate agents who have been in the business for less than 18 months who exceed one million in closed volume. This was followed by the bronze award winners ($1.5-$2.0 million closed volume or 20 transaction sides) and silver award winners ($2.0-$2.5 million closed volume or 30 transaction sides). The next awards were the longevity awards (20, 25, 30, 35 years with company), “top” awards (Highest residential sale of 2013, highest residential listing of 2013, highest commercial listing of 2013, & highest commercial sale of 2013), branch recognition awards, and just before lunch was served were the rookies of the year awards.
After the first “round” of awards we broke for lunch. We both chose the sirloin of beef as our entree. The entree was preceded with a basic salad and bread. Chocolate cake was the dessert along with coffee.
While everyone was finishing up lunch, Nothnagle’s President and CEO, Armand D’Alfonso began speaking and was interrupted by Karen Leonardi (Executive Vice President). She said to Armand that the news wanted to “interview” him. On the projection screens came a “LIVE BREAKING NEWS” alert. It was a “live” feed from 13WHAM (channel 13) regarding exciting news for Nothnagle Realtors. The Nothnagle “Sunday Showcase of Homes” will be moving to 13WHAM effective March 9th. The show will air on Sunday mornings at 11:00. Channel 13 is the leading TV station in the Greater Rochester NY area and surrounding counties.
The second “round” of awards followed this exciting announcement with the circle of excellence award winners (10+ consecutive years with Nothnagle & winner of the “top” award at least 3 times). This was followed by gold award winners ($2.5-$4.1 million closed volume or 40 transaction sides ). Lastly was the announcement of the platinum award winners ($4.1+ million closed volume or 50+ transaction sides).
As we mentioned above, 2013 was an incredible year. We were awarded with the platinum award. We ranked #33 in closed volume & #32 in transaction sides out of 670 agents in the company.
Platinum Award Reception
That evening there was a reception held at the Woodcliff Resort and Spa for the Platinum Award winners, which we attended.
It was a wonderful evening filled with various food stations (pasta,meat/cheese,dessert) and beverages. This is a great time to interact with other top agents in the company. We had a great conversation exchanging ideas and marketing strategies with Holly Creek. Her team of 13 was number one in 2013 with an impressive $95 million in closed volume for 2013 (360 transaction sides). The event was a great way to end a very “relaxing” day (when in comparison to the daily hustle and bustle of the real estate business).
Again, THANK YOU for making 2013 an incredible year for us. We are looking forward to another one in 2014!
